idle setting prcedure

During my battle with getting my car to run I messed with the idle screw on the throttle body and the screw that sets the stop for the throttle. Anyhow it runs rough at idle and hesitates. Is there a procedure to "balance" these two screws?

www.Clarks-Garage.com has a procedure to check the TPS on the throttle body.

This may help to reset the idle and stop positions. The original idle problem may have been more complicated than just the set screws.

Good Luck

Clark's also has the procedure for bypassing the IAC and setting idle speed. As for the set screw, it should just move the throttle plate a squidge from hitting the sides of the TB.

the idle stop should touch, then another 1/4 turn and this one needs to be set right.
