Electrical question?

Forget amprage for a second... If a battery produces 12.6v standalone..you get 12.6 at the starter positive lead.. what is acceptable voltage loss through the ignition switch to the ignition wire on the solenoid? Taking your measurement at the solenoid..

Solenoid should still work at relatively low voltages, 8 or 9 volts ought to do it. That said, I'd probably be concerned if I saw more than a 10% drop (< 11.3 or so)
