need a little info on front springs

I am calling all suspension guru's for a little help. I need to change my daughters 87' n/a back to stock height, and was wondering if early 85' n/a front springs would fit on a 87' 944 that have Koni adjustable front struts. Thanks in advance
( check out the current ride height)

well, i think the first thing to do is figure out what you have in there now

oem koni adjustables or an aftermarket set? oem would be the M030 and COULD use an entirely different spring diameter than an aftermarket unit

so, what springs are in there now?

Basically you need to know the diameter of the spring. If it large than it's most likely stock and any 944 spring would fit.... might not be the same spring rate though.

If its 2.5" then you would need to get a longer hypercoil spring.

I believe M030 springs on tuboS and 968's were an all together different size.

My bet is that you have the weltmeister lowering springs. Direct replacement for OEM springs. I have some stock turbo springs laying around too if you want them.

The adjustable Konis with the threaded body? Can you simply adjust what you have with the existing threads, or do you need to go higher?
