Airbag fault codes

I used Clarke's Garage to get my fault codes: 30 and 27
30 - Failure Warning Lamp short circuit, check control lamp??? check wiring harness
27 - Ignition Pill circuit 1 break (drivers airbag) plug to driver's airbag, check, replace...

According to Clarke, fix issue or replace control unit for both. Hmm, anyone have any thoughts? I have had the driver's airbag out and checked the connection. I could put a multi-meter to it and verify connection. If I am to check the wiring harness any suggestions where to start? Also check control lamp? help...

Update,
I found one of the faults. The contact unit in the steering wheel.

The yellow plug (2 male connectors) goes to the red plug (2 female connectors). Well, using my trusty Fluke multimeter I see either connector from the male side gives continuity to either on the female side. Looks like I need a new contact unit.
Any one have one for sale?
