Fuch Fitment on 1987 n/a
will original porsche fuch 15x8 wheels work on all 4 corners of my 944 without any fender rubbing issues or looking odd. Thanks, Josh

Might be a little wide as far as looks. Prolly screw the handling. I have no clue if they will fit or not. I would think not being that wide. At least not on the front.

Nope.
Fuchs are early offset, your car is late offset. 8" Fuchs would rub the fenders massively from sticking out too far. |

im gonna go test fit the two that i have and see if i can see any rubbing in my future. I really want these fuchs on my car. somebody had told me long ago that as long as they are 15'' i should have no trouble. Thanks Josh

This has been discussed many times before. I too want to fit fuchs onto an 87. Im pretty sure it CAN be done but it is a hard fit that requires camber adjustments and the right tire size.

Early offset 7" wheels will fit if you use skinny tires or lots of negative camber in the rear. Not sure about the front. I've done that in a pinch, and there is no room to spare. Eights will not work.

i mounted them and you guys are right, none fit, not on the front or the back. I talked to a buddy and he has a bunch a bunch of early 944's. Im gonna convert my car to early offset. we pullled one of the hubs today and hes gonna pull the rest off this week.

you are going to convert it to early offset? get some cup 2's and call it a day.

yea, its easy to convert. .I hate cups, the only wheels i think suit these cars are fuchs. so in response to your statement. No

Unless you are going to be running at a track a whole lot there isnt much benefit other than cosmetics. Also that car would be sex if it lost the crest on the fender. To Ferrari esque IMHO

is there a benefit at the track with early offset? are we talking the weight of the wheels? if so, you are better off with a lighter tire. there is more energy moment (i think is the term) the farther from the center of a spinning object.

this is purely cosmetic, i have a preference for fuch wheels. In 1987 porsche changed the width to better fill out the fenders with the phone dials, dont quote me on that though. Its just pillow talk. Its surprisingly easy if you have a donor car.
All thats needed is early offset hubs and brake rotors, im not replacing the wheel bearings while im down there cause when we pulled the hub they looked ok. Josh
