Rear Hatchback Seal Interchange

Going by the assumption that there must be an equivalent Audi or Volkswagen part for everything on the 944, Haha I wish! Is there such a replacement for the rear hatch seal that could possibly be trimmed to fit?

If not, does anyone know where to pick up an original replacement for much cheaper then the $100 I've been seeing.

looking for the same, here is a lead, Basically find a place that sells trim and try to find something that matches.

If I recall during my 924 days, I found something offered by, of all places, J.C. Whitney that was darn near a perfect replacement.

The good news is that the seal is the same from the 924 - 944

Thanks for the tips! Moneyguy, do you recall if you found it under a listing specifically for a replacement 924 rear hatch seal or was it a universal replacement?
