Another wheel bearing post
After going through search i couldn't find what i was looking for. Like the other post, I have a ton of wheel slop. I'm new to working on p-cars but I changed out my rotors, pads, and while i was in there wheel bearings. I noticed the wheels were a little hard to turn upon reassembly so i figured it was because the bearings were new. Got the car on jack stands and i have a lot of wheel movement top to bottom. The rotor is turning also, and its rubbing against the caliper. i took it for a test drive after i had everything together and when i turned i heard a nasty grinding which turned out to be the rotor rubbing against the caliper. i think i may have installed a bearing incorrectly.
Can someone please verify the order of replacement. i pulled all races+bearings. Heated the hub, bearings in the freezer. upon reassembly, inner bearing, then placed race on top of it and hammered in with old race, placed seal on the outside. inner bearing goes in, race on top hammered in w old race. placed on spindle, everything adjusted to clarks specs. is it possible to get that much from a race not being properly seated? ive r and r'd the caliper twice, its a rebuilt caliper from paragon. any suggestions?

hopefully found the problem........the whole hub assembly works a lot better when it's assembled correctlly. It goes lock nut, washer, bearing, race, race, bearing, seal. Not lock nut, washer, race, bearing, bearing, race seal.
