Throttle Cable
Just bought my first Porsche, an '86 944 NA, automatic. Drove it yesterday and ended up with the throttle stuck at 5500RPM. Found the throttle cable out of the track. It appears to be stretched, and won't hold tension. Anyone know where I can find a throttle cable for an automatic? I can find one for a manual tranny car anywhere. But the longer one that connects to the kickdown on an automatic car appears to be hard to come by. Thanks.
