Sorry, no photos. My 1979 924 came with a fine black bra and I never used it. The bra collects grains of dirt and pollution that sand the finish.

Yeah dont put a bra on. they look terrible and destroy the paint underneath worse than the rock chips you are trying to stop.

Mine has tits, but I let them hang free. Like they should be. Personally I dont like bras on cars, some look better than others. But the one above is most definetly SEXY. I have seen the clear bras on here. They are a plastic cover, I think, that just goes over the front. Dont know where you can find them, sorry.

I once saw a black leather bra on a guards red, late 944, and it looked wonderful. Unfortunately I dug deeper and saw that it was covering up a dented up front panel...

Im worried about rock chips. OK roads are pretty horrible and It has had new paint for less than a year and is already pretty beat up.

Talking Road Trash

porsche4life it sounds like you need both the bra and the clear sheets. The clear sheets to protect from the bra and the bra to protect from rock chips and other road trash. Kinda sounds like you are running Mad Max's Dodge, heck, just get a snow plow and weld it to the front!

My kid's girlfriend just ordered on for him for a Bday present. It'll be here in a day or so.

The way she described it to me, it sounds kinda like a rock-guard kinda thing. Clear plastic that you apply like a decal. Can't even tell it's there unless you look close.

For someone with good paint on their nose, this might be the thing.

I'll post pics when it's put on.

Please do. Can you tell me what brand it is? Application should be a snap as this would just be like a big vinyl graphic like my parents make and apply.

...not sure how you would mount this, but this will protect both of your cars at the same time!

Here try this link. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Scotchgard-PPF/Home/For_the/Consumer/Product_Info/
I had a Colgan custom bra, not worth a darn after 100MPH. Too much movement and flapping. Chucked that and bought a "speed bra" directly from Porsche. Looked like a million bucks standing still, but that wasn't why I bought it. The head light covers would constantly lift off at speed... tethered only by a small elastic band. Flopping around like that causes more damage than it was worth. IMO go clear or just make sure your front end is heavyly waxed.

All car bras do (from the dmg I've seen) is scar the living ***** out of your paint and after a couple seasons when it comes off... you now have a 2-tone paint job after which you may as well slap a fart can, a body kit and manufacturer's stickers on your now Jap-scapped peice of German engineering.

If you plan/use a bra, make sure you take it off of the car when it gets wet. Do NOT leave it on the car for a season, it will ruin the finish.

Ok looking at the clear this is the only distributor i find that sells direct. It shows to only be for the turbo but it looks to be on the parts that are not specific so i guess it doesnt matter.
