This is my dad's 88' 951 that I got a hold of when he passed away. Everything about the car is exactly as he left it 14 years ago. Right now I'm doing all of the maintenance stuff like belts, tires, fluids, seals, etc. since it has been sitting since 2008. This car is super important to me, and I'm never gonna even think about getting rid of it.

My 1986 944. The bike rack makes it a fun way to get to the trailhead.

After owning 3 911s, my first 944. 1987 Turbo. Original paint, 40,000 miles. All records since new. Stored the last 7 years. It's got a few mods: coilover suspension, 968 CS sway bars, adjustable boost control, stage II chip, Fabspeed exhaust with cat-delete, BBS 8" & 9"s, etc.

Congratulations, you just bumped up the game, as most of us can’t compete with your photography skills. Looking forward to seeing you post more pictures.

Thanks Byron! Wasn't sure what to expect with this one, having never driven one before. I'd say within a mile of my first drive, it already exceeded all expectations. Stupid fast. If I knew 15-20 years ago what I know now, I would have bought one long ago.

Heading home from 944West, April 26-28, 2024.
I had the trunk loaded with clothes and tools, etc, on the way out.
I stopped in San Diego at AutoPower to pick up and install their race roll bar for the DE part of the event on Sunday at Willow Springs.

I had crazy luck that weekend. I won the best raffle prizes including a new CSF radiator kit, titanium lug bolts and nuts, and a custom Hot Wheels safari car.

I also won the "Wildcard Award". The prize for that is harder to explain.
Hot Wheels recently made a 944 Safari car called the Dirtmeister. The Dirtmeister is based on a real car that some of you may have seen at Rennsport Reunion and other shows.
The real/full size Dirtmeister was a race car before it was converted into the Dirtmeister. One of the organizers of 944West is friends with the owner of Dirtmeister and was able to get the rear wing from the race car after it was converted. He had the wing signed by Patrick Long and some others at Air/Water.
That wing was the "Wildcard Award"
Fitting all the prizes and the Wing in the car around the new roll bar was a challenge. I felt like Jed Clampett.
