Mechanically I removed the head, lapped the valves, replaced all the seals/gaskets. Replaced the timing belt and balance shaft belt along with all the front end seals which eliminated all the oil leaks. Then I cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more: Thanks for all the help from you fellow Pelicans and to Wayne and the guys at Pelican Parts for the good service and help! Also a big THANK YOU to John at A Part Above for all the bits and pieces he provided.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1244638861.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1244638911.jpg |

I've got a ton of photos, here are a few...
Starting with my 86 944, which is currently undergoing a supercharger install in my garage, I wish I could be out driving it right now! http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...944/pcars1.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...shoot001-2.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...4/100_0828.jpg and my 86 951 daily driver... http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3.../Signal013.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3.../Signal024.jpg and from our most recent Central Florida 944 event... http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...s/100_3203.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...944meet022.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...s/100_3166.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...ma_3-28-09.jpg |
My wheels are ROH Modenas: 245/35 on a 9x18 front, 295/30 on a 18x10.5 rear wheel. Forgot the offsets, but crazy: like 86mm front, 65mm rear or so.
They're three-piece made-to-order out of Australia: since sold: kinda wish I kept them, but replaced them with my black Fikse's on my 928-turbo |
I'm the one with the white 87 924s fro
a scale of 1-10 what would you guys give my ride? |
lose the cheapo seat covers and and the pinstripe. It will help your looks trust me.

Also I'd loose the steering wheel for a original Porsche one, the front window sticker, the fog lights, front license plate, exhaust, (its just a little rice ish), and the interior door handles and speaker covers painted back to black. (Of course this is my own taste) Other than that.... ha. But seriously your paint looks very clean and does your dash have no cracks!!!!? Wow. lol. |
i like it just like it is. i have dash envy.
