nah, its all in your mind! I drifted this car with an open diff for a couple years before simply welding it for a full lock. My open diff 951 also drifts fine. Mostly depends on what tires you are using. I suppose while on topic I can post a few pictures. These are from my last couple events in 2008. Unfortunately the car has been sitting in the garage undergoing a major project for the majority of 2009. ![]() ![]() ![]() shifter smoke! ![]() ![]() ![]() Rain event. :/ ![]() ![]()

haha, are you familiar with the pedobear?

Basically you want something low profile that will hold traction really well in the front, and loose traction easily in the rear.

924 Carrera GT replica built on a 924 Turbo S2, sporting an OEM Carrera GT intercooler and 14lbs of boost. Still a work in progress but should be finished both mechanically and cosmetically by summer 2010.

Well I thought I'd throw mine into the fold.
I've only had it two weeks and in the beginning of getting it up to my standards in the way the car should look. The previous owner wasn't the detail freak that I am so I've fixed a few things, done alot of cleaning to the exterior, and just now getting to the interior. It'll be a long process but here she is as it sits. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

bnv944, can you explain the flex pipe you are using? It looks like it might be connected to or part of the air filter somehow, but hard to tell from that picture. Nice car though, not too many in that color down here in great shape.

I'm curious as to what is going on with the intake set up? I see the ducting pulling in air from the lower spoiler but what is the cannister thing and how is it all hooked up? I'm not here to criticize your design; I'm just curious.
