nah, its all in your mind! I drifted this car with an open diff for a couple years before simply welding it for a full lock. My open diff 951 also drifts fine. Mostly depends on what tires you are using.

I suppose while on topic I can post a few pictures. These are from my last couple events in 2008. Unfortunately the car has been sitting in the garage undergoing a major project for the majority of 2009.

shifter smoke!

Rain event. :/

I think the fronts are 225/45/15 and the rear varies because I shred them frequently but usually either 205, 215 or 225, on either 15 or 16" rims. Helps if they are dry and nasty and not fresh, and the lower profile the better.

Basically you want something low profile that will hold traction really well in the front, and loose traction easily in the rear.

924 Carrera GT replica built on a 924 Turbo S2, sporting an OEM Carrera GT intercooler and 14lbs of boost. Still a work in progress but should be finished both mechanically and cosmetically by summer 2010.

Well I thought I'd throw mine into the fold.
I've only had it two weeks and in the beginning of getting it up to my standards in the way the car should look.
The previous owner wasn't the detail freak that I am so I've fixed a few things, done alot of cleaning to the exterior, and just now getting to the interior.
It'll be a long process but here she is as it sits.

bnv944, can you explain the flex pipe you are using? It looks like it might be connected to or part of the air filter somehow, but hard to tell from that picture. Nice car though, not too many in that color down here in great shape.
