Thank you as well Paul, some customers would just blame the chip and stick their stock chip back in and run it until one day they found themselves stranded when the fuel pump finally died. But you were persistent and got to the root of the problems. I'm always happy to help anyone in the community if I can, customer or not. And as you say, this board is full of people willing to help as well.

Both the 944MAX and the 944MAXR are designed around a car with no cat, this way if you have a cat you can adjust the fueling a bit and make it leaner for better performance with the cat by selecting FQS switch position 2 (starting at zero, two clicks clockwise from fully counter-clockwise) and if you leave it in the zero position and delete the cat, instant performance gain. That way you don't need another chip when you change the exhaust. :)

YEAH! :D That would mostly explain the running rich at WOT I have, especially since it's the original cat. Nice to know. I'll definitely get on my test pipe project sooner.

I still think your cat is pretty clogged too if it's running that rich, but either way, when you take it off you're going to feel a big difference! :)
