Headlight Washers and Central Locking

I have a 1986 951. It has central locking and a factory alarm.

My first question is regarding headlight washers. Everytime I fill up the resevoir all the fluid simply drains out the headlight washer nozzles. I have replaced the steering column controls and the previous owner replaced the washer motor. Any suggestions for a possible cause / solution would be greatly appreciated.

The second question I have regards the central locking system. I had the car painted earlier this year. The door handles were removed at that time. Since I got the car back, the central locking mechanism does not work. If I close the doors and try to lock from the outside with the key, the button goes down (locks) and then instantly goes back up (unlocks). I have swapped the central locking control on the steering column with one that I know works properly and the problem persisted. The micro-switches all appear to be functional. Fuses are all good. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated again.
