Odd picture request - 944 late dash without cover
I know this is an odd request, but if someone has a late dash without the cover on it, could they please send me a pic?
Thanks, Ross. |

Does anyone know how to get the shift cap off the shifter to get the leather boot off?

Sorry, I thought you meant one of those fabric dash covers.
I would guess the bare dash framework would conform pretty closely to the shape of the plastic outer shell. It seems like it's just a metal shell with plastic put on. I've seen photos in posts (either here or on Clark's) of people re-doing dashes. It's been quite a long time (2-3 years) since that came up. Now that I think about it, there was a thread here in the last year or so of someone who did a home-brew version (re-coated it with some kinda resin) that looked pretty decent - that had pictures. |
