Throttle response cam installation question
I'm to the part where you adjust the pedal so as not to stretch/ break the cable at full throttle.........How do you adjust the pedal again? (Use small words and simple ideas please.)

Take up the slack in the throttle cable by adjusting it at the bracket that bolts to the intake manifold. There are two jam nuts to set the slack. Finally adjust the white plastic screw under the gas pedal so that the pedal bottoms out on it with the throttle wide open.

In addition to what Techno Duck advises, you need slack on the cable by the throttle cam for the throttle switch to work.

do you hear the click every time, even when the throttle is closed slowly? Don't try to adjust it to the very edge, or you will get intermittent closed throttle switch action, which sucks. If it's close enough to the edge of clicking vs not clicking, the switch may click but not make good contact.
