blower fan

Turns out after investigating I need the ENTIRE heating system. Im talking the blower, core, all the duct work.

anyways i was wondering if this blower i found on ebay is one that would work in my early 1985 porsche 944.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140341808410&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1182

Part number doesn't match the manual but i dont know if the manual i have is early or late models...or are the blower fans the same?

thanks

Blower Fan

That looks like the one for your early 85. Does it match the one you now have in the car? If it doesn't match what you have now I would not buy it. Have you checked the relay in the fuse panel to see if it is working?

Cheers,
Larry

I can say that it is COMPLETELY different than the late one, which uses a horizontal, dual "squirrel cage" design. If your car is an early 85, it has to be the correct one, but I see that there are currently 0 bids on it. The starting price is is great though @ 7.95. I hope you can grab it for that price.
