Hi Brian, I got to wondering if you have the plastic cowl piece that covers the Heater Blower and w/shield wiper trans gear? It runs from the battery to the fuse block aft of the firewall. You have to used a putty knife to run along the rubber firewall seal to remove it and take off the w/shield wiper arms. Mine crumbled when I had to take it off, but was already broken in several places. A guy I bought the rear seats from went to u-haul and got a long narrow box for the top part of the seat. I don't mind if it is cracked a little as a hot glue gun will take care of that.

Thank you,
Larry

Larry

I do have the part you are referring to however getting it off without destroying it might prove difficult. I can give it a shot and then let you know if it turned out decent enough where I would feel ok selling it. Sound good?

Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian, Sounds good to me. It is glued to that rubber firewall strip, and that is why you use a narrow putty knife to run along the seal. Mine was already messed up when I bought the car. I'm just trying to make a neat looking compartment again. You have to take it out if you want to put a filter in the Heater Blower Intake Unit.

Cheers,
Larry
