10mm triplesquare in SoCal
Does anyone know where I can get a 10mm triplesquare (cheesehead) in SoCal...today?
Due to some miscommunication I thought my mechanic buddy had one and he thought I was talking about something different. |

I've bought 'em at Autozone up here in WA - you have those down there, I think.
It seems like a lot of parts stores have them - as long as you ask for triple squares. If you ask for a cheesehead tool, they just give you a blank stare... You want good ones, SnapOn makes a great set, but they're pricey.

Yeah. They carry a set made by OEM called 12 point internal metric set. It's a set of 4 that are large bits that fit into a 1/2" socket, or can be turned with a 1/2" wrench and it's like $20. They're not the best, but as long as you don't twist them out of the screw head, they work pretty well. Mine have taken multiple flywheels, cam bolts and CV joints off without a problem.
