My 1985.5 N/A 944 has an issue with the clock and lighter. The lighter just gets a trickle of electricity- I know this because when I plugged in my GPS, it said it was charging, but ran out of juice after @ 4 hours. Also the clock is always flashing. I've set it on numerous occasions, but it just goes back to 12:00 and flashes after I awhile. I am certainly not an electrician, and do not own a multimeter. Any ideas that don't involve the voltmeter? Thanks.

something must be shorting out intermitenly for the clock to keep resetting to 12: 00, and the clock and lighter and radio are all on one circuit on my '87 924s
