Euro plate on US Spec 944 NA

It seems as though a european spec plate will not fit due to the limited space for a license plate due to the black rubber bumper guards.

Is there any way that people commonly use to make this work?

I have heard before that you can get Euro style plates for these cars (sort of like getting a vintage plate).

As far as your options, either remove the bumper pads, or get a Euro replica bumper... I would just remove the pads and grind off the mounting tabs...

On the euro cars, the plate goes between the tail lights. It does not mount to the bumper.

ANCOSTA if you click on ernie 9944 and go to some old treads you'll see a solution to your proplemes ,take a look at what I did to the front pumper of my ex 944 ,you will have ample spaces to fitt the euro-plate without doing a (hack job) to your front bumper. Any advices needed just contact me. Now owne a 968 with all the goodies.********
