Door lock issue
When I lock or unlock the door using the key, the other door is supposed to lock/unlock but it doesn't. This is the same for both driver and passenger doors.
Anyone know some tests I can perform to find what is wrong? I do plan to take the door panels off and see what is what.

I can hear the actuators move. The LEDs light on and off, but the black stocks do not move up and down. Maybe too much friction?

At least on my '88 either door lock opens both doors. Does your driver's door lock not open the passenger door? Does the passenger door lock open the drivers? What does the button on your console do (mine only works with both doors closed)?

Buy a cheap door panel removal tool from your local auto parts store. Clean and relube all moving parts for the door locks. See if they operate good prior to replacing the door panels. May be a sticky switch, spray with electric parts cleaner and work switch several times.

Most likely problem is that one of the doors has the plastic arm that actually opens/locks the lock has broken. It is very common.
As mentioned above, get a tool to remove the panels and you should quickly find the problem. The arms are like $2 or less from the dealer. Good luck, Keith

The factory manual has a really good section on diagnosing problems with the central locking system.

Well, I feel silly for posting. I took the doors apart and the actuators were not attached to the black stocks. I attached them and whammy, working....

Consider yourself lucky,,, you got yourself an easy one there. Most things on these rides aren't that easy.
