Camshaft gasket question
Hey guys i was just wondering if I would be able to reuse the cam gasket I recently installed it had no real use. Had to pull the head back off and was wondering if the gasket was reusable it was soaked with oil so i just tossed it to the side thinking it wouldnt cost much to replace but i forgot to get one with my last order. Thanks in advance.

SOB! nevermind I just ripped the gasket trying to clean it off. Guess I'll have to order a new one.

I believe some people use permatex gasket maker instead of the original cork gasket. If done right, it's probably less susceptible to leaks.
