Scratch on Cyl. wall.
After putting the head on, and trying to turn the engine over manually and being unsuccessful, we took the head off again and noticed there was a scratch on the piston wall in cyl. #2. It like scraped up enough matter to make a lit'l indention at the top of the scratch, like pulling your finger in the dirt, at the end it's a lit'l mound... Well anyway - what would you suggest we do? File it down or something? - What are the effects of a little scratch on the piston wall????

Is the mound prohibitting the piston from it's normal travel?

If the material is interfering with the piston travel, you'll need to get the cylinders re-honed by a Porsche dealer.
