Boxster 986 Seats in 944

Hello, As the title says, has anyone installed Boxster Seats in a 944 and if so how hard was it to do? I am going to be installing them as soon as I get them and after I re-dye the seats color. The wiring is already there to hook up. Just wondering if I will have to drill holes in the mounting rails.

i know somebody who installed 996 seats in a 968 - it's my understanding that it's pretty much the same tub respectively on both cars (968=944 and 996=986), so they should "fit", though he said he had to do some minor work to the rails (i don't know what)

the seats sat taller in the car though, and if you are tall, this could be a problem

Thank you. They should fit me fine as I am 5'8" and the seats are soooooo much more comfortable for my old back.
