In my opinion Im very impressed with the product. I was particularly impressed how much it helped my K26/6 spool up.

Ya.... I am mixed.... I had a very knowledgeable valve engineer explain to me about how that is overboosting... Don't recall all the details now....
And don't get me started on what I have heard about the lindseys.... All I have to say is I will buy parts from them... but no other business... |

I'd like to know, please PM me.
Peak boost was achieved quite a bit sooner than stock, I would say around 3,500rpm. In the mid range RPM's it made the car feel very "peaky" horsepower wise. If you install the boost enhancer I recommend 1 or 2 wastegate shims. I installed a 3.0 BAR FPR and a full 3" exhaust system with the addition of a cat delete and that helped limit turbo lag as well. I was very impressed with that set up using the stock turbo.

Basically it boils down to they did sub par work... When the motor went tits up in less than 5k miles they refused to stand behind it... And this was a guy that was a friend of theirs... Like played pool every saturday night friend.... I have heard several other stories.... Basically I would not let them build my motor.... I will buy parts from them... they have a few good products.... Not sure that the theory behind this one is sound though...

Have you looked into any other cylinder head options?
How about a big valve (1.940" intake & 1.625" exhaust), 5 angle cut, larger matching intake valve seat - both seats are smoothed for a seamless transition to the int/exh ports, smaller 5/16" (7.8mm) stem, ported intake & combustion chamber for shrouding, larger endurance race springs with titanium retainers? The valves are made from the latest generation of "super alloy" material that is lighter and more resiliant to higher temperature exposure. No need for a sodium filled stem with this material - this stuff is lighter and stronger. The valve design incorporates the latest advancements to ensure superior flow. More information available here: Big Valve Head ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I've bought quite a few bits from Lindsey, including a boost enhancer. No worries with any of their gear or deliveries. I would recommend getting a quote on shipping costs from them via an email because their online ordering process doesn't let you see how much it's going to cost.
The boost enhancer did make a difference but you're better off going straight to a dual port wastegate.

the boost enhancer works - BUT, is the most primitive form of boost control there is. When others are all striving for greater, finer control over our engine management, the boost enhancer is taking you further away from that goal.

I just noticed that you've already got a Tial so you don't need a boost enhancer, get a manual boost controller instead.
