$1700? Why?
1984 944. 3 owner car, pagid distance racing pads, above factory spec compression, uses no oil, makes no weird noises, cup clutch, ss brake lines, ate slotted rotors, sport springs, sway bars, bilstein shocks, new bushings, aiwa mp3 player, 4 2 way high quality speakers, factory paint, 120watt H4 headlights wired in with relays, K&N, jacobs coil and wires, etc. etc...
That sounds fine and dandy, but when you throw in faded carpet in the hatch, 150+k miles, faded paint, dented driver's fender, ripped seats, all of a sudden it doesn't matter if this thing drives tighter, handles better, stops sooner, accelerates harder than any other normally aspirated 8v 944 I've driven, it doesn't matter. I'm talking to FTY on AOL IM, and he says $1700 is all it's worth (and that his car's better than mine, and mine's sorry, etc). Car max offered me $500 last year! I just can't do that, I spent over $500 on the front suspension alone 3 weeks ago, fixing nothing that was wrong, as usual. I don't want to sell this car for less than $2k, neither do I want to sell it to a punk who's buying it just because it's a Porsche. What am I supposed to do here? Now I need a transaxle, and two rear tires... Buddy's 300zx tt just got stolen yesterday, kinda wish it was me. I'd be happy not seing it go, I'd get my agreed value from Allstate (over $7k)... Or if my car got hailed on, or burnt, or a tree fell on it, but with my luck I'll probably just have the next tranny break too! Ahmet

1700, that's pretty low. But then again, considering it's an 1984 with 150k miles, no matter HOW good it is, it will only fetch maybe a little above market value (which is not much). Still, if I were looking for a car like yours, i'd DEFINITELY give you more than 2k for it. But then again, i'm looking for a 85.5+. Oh wells. As for your transaxle, tough luck man. 4th time now? And right when you got back into driving again too. Oh wells, there's always a brighter day.

Seriously Ahmet, why don't you part it out if you're not gonna keep it? You've obviously got the know how, and with all the upgraded parts you've got, you could prolly fetch a good amount of money.
