Schnell Short Shift Install
Today I installed a Schnell short shift kit in my '88 944. The original shifter was fused to the rod that comes out of the transaxle. It took me many hours longer then it should have taken to cut the shifter out with a Dremmel tool. The end result is great and was worth the effort.
