Installing stereo after old aftermarket unit was torn out

My car had an aftermarket Kenwood head unit installed by a previous owner. The woman I bought the car from said it was in it when she bought it and that it worked. While she had it, the faceplate broke and her son started the replacement job, but never finished. I have finally gotten around to doing the radio and pulled the old Kenwood out. What I found was that the thing wasn't even hooked up!! A large black wire was cut and I found a plug or two, but I am not at all sure what wire goes to what or if anything else was cut.

Basically I need help from someone who's installed a stereo in a 944 after the original was stolen and ripped out. Cuz that's kinda how the wiring looks in my car!!!

Thanx, Randy
