ODO issue?!?
I was cruising along the interstate in my 951 as I observed the odometer the hundred thousand one went from 1 to 8 and stopped! All of the other numbers are working flawlessly, even the tripometer.
What happend? Stripped possessed odo gear? Thanks

Seriously, yes you likely have an odo gear problem. |

How would I go about fixing this issue? I have documentation proving its proper mileage. I will take a photo for the humor of it.

Take the odometer out... Roll it to correct miles... Replace gear... Install reverse of removal....

Over the years I have heard of other cars doing the same exact thing - when the 100K rolls to 800K or 900K all of a sudden - strange grimlin

Easily fixable by VDO speedo shops.
