Hella H4 conversion HELP
I just received a Hella H4 conversion kit from Pelican. I am puzzled, the new lens (on the left in the photo) doesn't seem to have the same mounting mechanism as the old one.
The old brand is Sylvania, maybe something the PO has installed. It has 3 screws mounting it on a retaining ring, which seems itself attached to the frame with 3 adjusting screws. The new Hella H4 lens has simply 3 metal hooks and no screw hole. Am I missing something really obvious? Thanks,

Just a wild guess, but I believe the 3 screws holding the "frame" around the existing lens are all you need to remove. That should allow you to pull the old bulb out and put the "frame" on the new bulb and re-attach with the 3 screws.

Take the 3 screws out and the ring will come off. The old headlight can then be pulled out enough to disconnect the H4 plug on the back. The metal tabs are so you orient the light correctly in the housing.
