Trying to put together my rear lock n hatch arms

Haven't had a rear lock on my car for a while (PO took it off at some point?). Was looking for some pictures. Only one side of the hatch stays closed or latched shut. Need to have the other side latch pinched so the hatch completly shuts.

What year is your car?

I was kinda having this problem on my early 85. When press the power release button some times it unlatches on both sides, other times only one side. However, I know the passenger side latch (the one that gets stuck) is reallly corroded and needs to be replaced. Maybe thats your problem?

Or possibly the arm that connects the side that wont unlatch needs adjusting.

Hi,I found that fitting a separate return spring @ the latch actuator meant the pins locked and released properly, wasn't to hard and has worked for 3 yrs now.
I then ditched the useless motor release and cable as they don't seem to work properly IMO,cheers

No i meant the back part of the lock. I think I got it right, just wanted a picture to make sure my progress was right (it wasnt the first time, posted then ended at the third picture. In the third picture how does the hatch motor release cable attach to the back of the rear lock?
