Can heat be turned off on an 89?
My 89 951 has automatic climate control. I can handle that, except for 1 issue. Sometimes, when temps are below around 60 or so, but I do NOT want any heat, it is forced on me anyways. It seems that the most I can do about it is cut the fan down to lowest setting and open the windows. But that still isn't enough to keep it from bothering me. I can turn the temp control all of the way down, it still puts out heat. Is there any sort of manual override that will completely kill the heat, when that is what is desired, without having to cut, or short out, wires, via a toggle switch?
