Help Understanding Schematic

I have an '83 944 NA that I am working on. I need some help understanding the electrical schematic.

Circuit 30 on the fuse/relay board comes directly from the battery and into the ignition switch from terminal H. When you put the key in the switch it sends power to the radio relay (so the radio is on even if the switch is not on.) In the Start position the ignition switch sends 12v thru terminal E17 to circuit 50 in the fuse/relay board. My confusion centers around the On position of the ignition switch. It appears that when the ignition switch is on terminal E2 sends 12v to circuit 15 in the fuse/relay board but terminal E10 also sends 12v to circuit X. What is the difference between circuit 15 and circuit X? The ignition switch only has 3 positions - Off, On, and Start.

Circuit 15 is for the ignition coil and the fuel pump (they remain on in the start position).
Circuit X is for auxiliary functions (they are cut off in the start position).
