Porsche Crest My 944 needs Your help! (Fuel pump no Power)

Hey Guy's,
I am working on a 1983 (Automatic) 944,
I recently swapped the engine out with a good clean running one,
Problem is it wont start! After diagnostics and Testing I found out that the engine was not getting fuel, I Tested i with my fuse tester and low and behold all of them but the fuel pump was working, However when I Touched both the fuse next to it and the fuel pump's fuse you could hear the fuel pump running so I believe the problem is that that I am not getting power to the fuel pump, This is where I need your guy's help. How do i solve this and get my beauty on the road?( I am 16 and this is my first car so it's very important to me), Also on a side Note any donations to My project is awesome because my minimum wage job is barely gonna pay the bills being a 16 year old male for insurance and what not. Also does anyone know of a 944 group in central Florida I could join in on when it's done?
Awesome thanks guys for making my dream into a reality.

Hi, welcome to Porsche 944 ownership, the insanity is starting...

The speed & reference sensors are most likely the culprit:

1. verify each sensor is connected to proper harness plug, they can easily be reversed. Try swapping them and see if that works.

2. verify sensor spacing to flywheel pickups. They need to be about 1-1.5mm away from the flywheel teeth and TDC trigger. Lookup Clark's Garage for procedure to adjust sensor spacing.

3. DME relay, may be bad or OK. There's also test procedure on Clark's.

Good luck!

Garage
Put a jumper wire in your fuel pump relay board and test for voltage @ your pump,it must be 12 volts.
You could also power the pump up with another battery and some wire,if the car starts you can bypass the sensor BS which I'am afraid maybe your issue.
Could you have damaged the speed/referance sensors during the engine swap, this is a common issue in this case.
Have you tested for fuel @ the injector fuel rail?
You said you swapped motors, did the car run before the swap?
Trawl the net and study up on this issue, don't race into it and change parts etc, start with the basics then move up.
I wish you good luck.
