Need Help to identify Fog Lamp
 

I am looking for a fog light for my 86 930. I have an 930S splitter with integrated fog lights. I need the right side light. The complete light assembly measures 7-1/2" x 3-1/4"overall. It has 3 mounting screws and 2 screws to adjust the reflector. The numbers on the lens are... 24-420-r7, 21-630-r7and 24-620-r8 in the center, 2-A-118125 at lower edge. The rear wiring plug is a Hella #122349. The lens is approximately 140mm x 68mm on the face. The mounting holes are 70mm apart on the outside and 180mm from the one hole on the inside. Does anyone know which car this lamp came on or would fit on?

Methinks you are in the wrong forum.... This is for 924/944/951's

That sure looks to be the same as the 924 Euro light.

The lens numbers on mine are different but it looks to be the same mounting. The 924 has a hole drilled in the tab that sticks out on the side with the 2 mounting holes for the mini bumper. The sizes you gave are a bit rough but seem to be correct.

kdjones - I was told it might have been off a 924 or 944.

I think the Euro 924's 78 up to 82. Not sure what the S models use.
I think the Porsche number for the complete assy is 477 941 752 D.
Not sure if it is still available from Porsche. I know someone at 924.org that might have some used ones.

Those lenses look similar to mine from my car though mine have a black plastic surround that goes over the housing.

the 924S used a round fog light iirc.

Idontknow, I looked at the 944 ones as they seem to have the same mounting but did not have the little tab for the mini bumper that is needed on the 924.
Looks like the 930 does not need the bumper so perhaps the 944 one would work.

I have both the left and right side lights. The Hella part numbers are 477 941 752 D and 477 941 751 D. Other numbers on the sticker are 1FB 002950-23 1FB 022 950-24. Below those numbers on both are 24 420 R8 24 420 R7. They are brand new and I have the original boxes that they were shipped in from Germany.

So, did you want to sell these in 2010???
