1988 944 N/A injection issues
Good Day Gang,
It has been awhile since I have posted. My car has been sitting for two years and I have only started it on 3 times since. Now I can't get the car to start. I put new plugs in and there is 20 psi on the my fuel rail gauge. I removed the injectors and soaked them in carb cleaner. I then connected them back to the fuel rail with wires connected and turned motor over to see if they were spraying. They did not spray. Soooo either they are completely clogged from sitting or there is another issue. The fuel pump is working and I put an adjustable pressure regulator on there years ago. I pulled the two timing sensors out and cleaned them. Some guidance would be helpful

Wow, Join Mar of 2002 and this is your 2nd post!
1. Change the DME/Fuel pump relay 2. Does your tach bounce 1/16" when you grind the starter? 3. Put a NOID lite on the injector connector. 4. Fuel pressure seems low at 20PSI at rail, should be about 29 psi at idle and 36 WOT--clogged fuel filter 5. Bad Fuel in tank. To be continued... GL John
