No because its an automatic. Not much point in an automatic sports car, and being that is is older its going to require work and you really don't want to have to work on an A/T.

2.5 3 speeds SUCK I bought one but gave it to the wife
is there a 88-1/2 model ??
I have heard of the 85-1/2 year changes
but little on the later auto 3 speeds that make them any better

I would save up and shift to a 968 auto hunt as they are a much better car
for the 3.0 and 4 speed

are there 944S2 autos 3 or 4 speeds ???

No autos on S2 models just base 944's. Be aware that if the rubber flex dampner breaks its big $$$

I had several auto 944's from new, the last one being an 89 2.7 engine. The reason I never changed when the S2 3litre came out, was, I was told it was not made with auto transmission.....

You can usually get a good deal on an auto now, as stickshift has always been more popular...
