Anyone have a source for wire mounting loops?
Does anyone have a source for these things?
I broke most of them when I pulled the wiring harness off my engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

What size do you need? 7/16, 1/2 inch?

Thanks guys,
Porsche seems like the logical choice, but I can't find part numbers for them anywhere. I need several different sizes. |

there are 21 different "cable holders" listed in the Porsche Price list, the only one I could actually see in the Porsche PET is located in: Model 9442 year 87 MG 9 SG 10 Illustration 910-00 position 4. That is the one that holds the radiator cooling fan cable to the fan shroud.
It is p/n 999.651.168.40 cable holder Best bet would be to go to the dealer and see if they can locate the ones you are looking for

There is a reference to these clips in this page Porsche 944 Turbo Engine Bay. They are apparently called "Omega clips" and very rare. Perhaps he can help you out?
By the way folks, take a look at this guys car. It is amazing.

Thanks everyone for your help.
I could not find a source for these things in the US so I ordered them from Workshop Supplies in the UK. Got a package of 50 omega clips in assorted sizes for 5.60 pounds (still not sure how much that really is ![]() |

I got mine from Porsche. They were a few NZD$ each (about a couple of USD$ each). The PET doesn't mention the colours so I just got a couple of each size

I finally got around to looking into these mysterious clips, and you can find at least one of them at Clips, Wire Routing
If you also browse around under Wire Loop Clips you will find the GM type, which allows for the wires to be removed and replaced from the clip without breaking it. Probably other sites out there that sell these as well. Cheers, Keith
