Speed and Reference sen. issues...

ohm results

speed sensor - terminal 8-27 ------ .955 M ohm
terminal 8-23 ----- 33.5 k

reference sensor - terminal 25-26 --------- 155.9k
terminal 25-27 -------- 1 result was 33.5 k the second was 1.115 M

what does that mean for me ^^^

I'm still trying to hunt down a intermittent starting problem. that seems to be getting a bit worse. a couple days ago i heard a sound (after it didnt start for a while) that sounded like the sensor it self was touching the flywheel for a second. this only happen happened very briefly on that drive home 2-3 times and only while i was slow starting from first gear.. didnt do it in any other gears ... didnt do it during neutral either. never heard it again

in this picture from cg my sensors dont match.. is that from an early 944 or 924. cuz my sensors dont seem to have that bracket or whatever between the housing and the sensor. its all tight . no loose or missing bolts

It may very well be that the OP changed out one of the sensors in the past...

That loose ground wire - the main ground for the motor is loose - big problem - the brown one in the picture and a couple of inches to right of the sensors looks like it is completely loose.
