Ride height???
Hi I would like to know hat determines the ride height in the rear end of a 924s. Cuz I'm baffled, I can't find any springs at all.

measure from the center of the hubcap to the fender straight up, should be around 25"-26" stock or so, maybe a little more.

torsion bars
and i doubt that the car sits at 25-26 from the center of the cap to the fender - that sounds more like fender to ground |

I'll have to measure to be sure. But my car is sitting about 25 to the fenders on all four corners. I wouldn't suggest going much lower than that, unless you like replacing oil pans and front lips...
I wouldn't consider reindexing torsion bars to get it lower again either.... Thats a bloody nightmare. |

25" is good for street, 24" is great for racing or track

Torsion bar = torsion spring
It is just a different style of spring. Works well as it provides better packaging and a lower center of gravity. Technically an anti-sway bar is a torsion spring. Basically, the spring is twisted instead of being compressed like in a "standard" coil spring (which the coils are technically twisted as force is applied) |
