Engine blocking

Anyone know of a cheap way to lock the engine so I can do a leak down test? I don't want to order a single part to Canada just for that. Or anyone want to sell one?

Put a replacement engine in a short time ago and did a head job and it's using a lot of antifreeze. Suspect a crack in the head gasket. Crap!

just put socket and a tbar on the the crank bolt and wedge it against something?

you could put it in 5th gear and chock the wheels

I like the breaker bar on the crank bolt idea if you don't have a flywheel lock.

As several have stated, a breaker bar on the crank bolt is the hot ticket. Have someone hold the bar while you do the leak down. Warm up the engine before the leak down test.
