Performance Chip

I bought this chip and installed it Racing Chip Porsche 944 924S 1988 ECU 086 (best to get): eBay Motors (item 390261731928 end time Dec-12-10 09:52:29 PST) for the heck of it to try to get my 944 NA a bit quicker. I have to say that this chip is not bad. I notice that my car was a bit faster, and little more torque. +1 for this chip!

I highly doubt it gains as much as the ad says (and there is no top speed limit on 944's), but that's great it works. Even the best 944 chips will gain maybe only a few hp up top, but the gains are usually found in the midrange and part throttle, kicking the lazy factory ignition advance up a notch. Good deal, too. It's more than likely a copy of one of the several good chips out there.

Yea i was supprised that this chip performed well. For 40$ its worth it! I had to do research to make sure it fit my ECU. Taking the ECU apart scared me because I didnt want to break it! I notice my 0-9 went from 10sec to about 9. I also noticed I can spin out easly now. +1

Also recommend Ignition Coil Upgrade, MSD Blaster 2 for ~$45 is worth more Torque and Power throughout rpm Range.
Suggest Retune for Max Efficiency after 200miles...
Cool....
