928 back wards?

I thought every one would enjoy this idea (yes I know this is not a 928 forum), Popular Mechanics has a article for the Myth Busters about running a 928 back wards, no not in reverse but flip the body and prove it is just as aerodynamic from the back as the front?, interesting article, would not want to buy that car after.
Ok the results will air on 9pm, 11/17/10 on the discovery channel.
just goes to show what can happen when you have to much time on your hands

I just saw this car at the SEMA show in Vegas last week and it must have taken a beating by those guys! It looks pretty nutty seeing the steering wheel, complete with dash pod, on the passenger side and facing backwards. The front, now back, windshield is bashed in and the body was beat pretty hard, too. Hilarious!

wouldn't it have been easier to just put it in a wind tunnel backwards?
There is a large wind tunnel close to the myth busters, located at Moffit Field.
I believe they have even used it before.

Damn, I'm so watching that.

Putting it in a wind tunnel may be more efficient but building a backwards car is just plain good TV.

I care about the result, but I won't be watching.

Mythbusters is annoying as all get out to watch.

Format "What came last" "Whats next" "Whats now" "Whats Next" "Commercials" "what we just did"....

1/4 of the show at best seems to be "whats now". This makes it very frustrating to watch!!! I gave up on it the 2nd time I watched the show. American TV is such lame.

If my understanding is correct, the 928 is a beast to work on. If that was not the case, I might go after one. Otherwise, I find the 928 to be a very nice vehicle.

Best looking production car ever produced, IMHO. Maybe that's because the aerodynamics are so pure. And maybe that's why it is no problem to be able to run it ass-backwards.
