85.5 Battery Vent Tube?

Just about to install a Maxx 48 battery into my 85.5, and the battery comes with a vent tube connection to tie in to the battery vent tube on the car.

Thing is, I cannot find the battery vent tube on the car. Is there supposed to be a battery vent tube on this car?

Don't think there is any battery vent tube on a 944 ,know for a fact there is on the 911 derive cars (993- 996 & so on) but like I said none on your car.The reason for the vent tube is if the battery location is enclose. Ours are wide open to fresh air.

As above - the vent tube system is for UK/Europe cars that have the battery inside the hatch.

Not sure if it is still needed with modern day sealed batteries in the UK.
