New dash - where to buy?

Greetings Pelicans,

Has anyone ever found where to buy a new early dash? I can't seem to find one and want to compare prices on recover and replace.

Thanks!
Jackson

Finding a NEW DASH will be like finding a chicken with 32 teeth, slim to none. All that is left is to have your old dash recovered. You can check out an upholstery shop or go to Classic9 leather.com.

Cheers,
Larry

1000+ for a new one, providing you can find someone that wants to let one go. check out 924board.org, too, as there may be someone over there with one.

I've seen a lot of people use this place. Classic 9 Leather Shop Porsche Interior Restoration Automobile Reupholstery Craftsman

If I remember correctly, you have to take the dash out and send it to them.

I don't have any experiance with them myself but the results other people have shown look awesome.

Kinda pricy, but what the heck...

why do you need a new dash?
it is cracked that bad ?
i have redone mine in leather in 1 day ...it took me 30min to take it apart it is true that i didn't had cracks but it is a easy way to fix cracks ..think just for a minute ...why to pay allot $ for a new one when y could do it yourself
just my opinion

The reason I want a new dash is because everyone I know thinks the car is a total POS because of the dash. The dash im my M&R 924 is far worse but that is a different story. It's a very nice car and it's super tight but I'm tired of it being called a POS based on the dash alone.
