Headlight Motor Troubleshooting
ok 2 issues. both are a time sensetive issue as this is my DD and i drive at night. Possibly related. Its going to be 7 degrees tomarrow, so i wan to fix rather than spending the day trouble shooting. Any suggestions are welcomed.
My headlights go up but not down. Im thinking relay however my headlight switch feels as if it clicks into 5 or 6 positions rather than off, park and full on. I also have to tap the switch for the interior lights to come on. When i turn my headlights on, it blows my tail/marker light fuses. Would you start with the switch?(yes) but how possible it's related?

The Light Switch is known to go bad, melted contacts and burnt wires among other problems. Since this is your DD I would just go ahead and replace the Light Switch and Head Light Motor Relay. As always clean the light grounds. You did not say whether or not the Head Lights come on.
Cheers, Larry
