Plug that goes in hatch? Part number?

I am trying to get the plug that goes in the rear hatch glass, when you pull the windshield wiper out? It covers the hole.

Went to the dealer? he couldn't find it?

Does anyone have one for sale or the part number?

Thanks

you must have a pre 85/2 model. On those diagrams it is there (#39) but there is no line to the part. It is shown on 85/2 diagrams with the line.

It is described as a "screw" 477-845-333. You will also need (2) grommets 477-955-439, (1) washer 477-845-331 and a nut

Here's the PET page of the rear glass. Looks to me like you need #s 39, 40, 41, 42. Judge for yourself. I guess if it's wrong and you're ordering through a dealership you won't have any obligation to buy it if it's the wrong part.

Hope that helps,

Okay, I'm new to the 944 world. Last Porsche I had was 30+ years ago, a 1966 911. But I love my 944.

I posted a question a several days ago about a problem with the passenger door not wanting to open (from inside or outside).

I am facinated with the PET drawings tha Cduke posted. What is PET. I would love to see an exploded drawing of the inside of my door so I can figure out what is going on.

Can anyone get these drawings or???

Thanks in advance.

tnstaafl,

the pet cd is a cd that has all the parts numbers and a basic pic of how all the parts go together. pet stands for electronic parts catalog. the cd covers all the models from the 356 to the new turbo and GT3.

if you want a copy email me, and I'll give you the specs.

I also have the factory manuals on cd.
