951 Vibration

I have a 1988 Turbo S in decent condition approx 150k miles. Belts replaced within the last 20k miles.
The issue - at approx 3000-3200 RPM the car has a driveline vibration felt through the gear lever, the issue only occurs in that small rev range and otherwise drives fine. The issue is getting progressively worse over the last few thousand miles.
I am not having any problems engaging any gears.
Any ideas?

balance shaft(s). soon your exhaust manifold will crack. $1000 stainless headers are a nice upgrade. assuming you dont get the problem fixed...as this is what happened to me. this vibration probably started right around when you got car back from belt changes, eh ?
