Spaced Out

I got my wheel spacers installed today (1 1/2" thought it was very wide till I put the rims and tires on and it looks fine) and installed my new 16" Phone Dials on my 85.5 na, they look great and they look like they belonged on this car from day one. slight shimmy/wobble in the front any idea's how to remove this (I watch wheels be balanced so they are ok)?
James

Shimmy can be caused by not having a front 1/16th inch toe in.

Other theories:
Put the wheel lock opposite the tire valve.
Balance the wheels "on the car"
Worn suspension parts.
Inherent to the 944........

Here is some discussion.

Perhaps one of the spacers is not setting on the hub correctly. Maybe the center cavity is not large enough and is slightly off?

You may have a problem with one of the tires, even if they are new. broken belt ect. can you rotate them around to see if you can get the wobble to move to the rear? You could narrow it down between a wheel/tire issue and suspension one. They may have not balanced it correctly or a weight could have been knocked off too.
